Front Row: John Rutter, Cathee Huber Back Row: Elizabeth Rogers, Marilyn Alexander, Jon Shaw & Lisa Stockard 2009 Fleming Scholarship Award Winner  The Greenville Choral Society's Fleming Scholarship is awarded annually to a member of the GCS Youth Chorale who exemplifies a dedication and passion for choral music and a commitment to furthering his or her skills by enrolling in a music program at the university level. This year's recipient is Ms. Emily Tucker. Emily is from Goldsboro, NC and will be studying Music Education at East Carolina University this fall. The award was presented by GCS Past-President, Nancy Sturgis, at the GCS Youth Chorale's Spring Concert this past May. Congratulations to Emily for her accomplishments, and we wish her the best as she continues her passion for choral music at ECU!
