The GCS Concert Choir presents in "virtual" performance a brand new recording of Robert Shaw/Robert Russell Bennett's "Many Moods of Christmas, Suite One," recorded at The Memorial Baptist Church in sections with the help of Alex Davis from East Carolina University. Following, are four beloved choruses reprised from last year's performance of Handel's Messiah, Part I, recorded last year at the First Baptist Church of Washington, NC.
The GCS Youth Chorale is proud to present their 2020 Winter Concert. Due to restrictions related to COVID-19, the concert was not performed for a live audience, but instead, was recorded for all of you to enjoy in Uptown Greenville, NC in order to meet outdoor gathering guidelines. Repertoire includes:
  • “Gloria in excelsis” from Gloria by Antonio Vivaldi
  • "Requiem" by Eliza Gilkyson arr. by Craig Hella Johnson
  • "A Holly Jolly Christmas" arr. by Greg Gilpin
  • “Uisutamas” from Three Baltic Carols arr. by Ken Berg
  • "See that Star" by Victor Johnson
