The Greenville Choral Society is a community choral organization formed in 1969 as The Greenville Community Chorus. Now, over a half-century later, GCS continues to serve its mission to foster excellence in the art of choral singing and provide music education, cultural enrichment and entertainment for its members and the community. The organization includes four regularly-performing choral ensembles for children, youth and adults and The New Carolina Sinfonia, the region’s first professional orchestra.
The Greenville Choral Society & New Carolina Sinfonia is a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code (EIN # 23-7354442).
