 The Greenville Choral Society is excited to announce that Dr. Andrew (Andy) Roby has been selected as the new Director for the GCS Concert Choir. Dr. Roby holds degrees from both Union University and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and comes to us with a rich background of choral conducting in academic, church, and community settings. Dr. Roby is the current President of the North Carolina Chapter of the American Choral Director's Association (ACDA) and serves as the Minister of Music and Worship Arts at The Memorial Baptist Church in Greenville, NC. Dr. Roby is the proud father of two children who also hold degrees in Music and he resides in Greenville with his beloved wife Mary who is an Assistant Director in the Laupus Health Sciences Library at ECU.
