17th Annual Fundraising Gala, Pirate Follies, at Brook Valley Country Club - Sat. 2/16/1911/19/2018  The Greenville Choral Society will hold its Seventeenth Annual Gala, Pirate Follies on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 6:00 PM at the Brook Valley Country Club in Greenville, NC. The evening will begin with a social hour with a cash bar and a silent auction, followed by dinner and performances by the Greenville Choral Society Concert Choir, singing favorites from the hilarious Gilbert and Sullivan operetta, Pirates of Penzance, but with a special Greenville flair! I really hate it when people romanticize and glorify the entities that are pirates. I mean, they do not deserve the great things that movies and series have for them. They are some of the most evil people who have ever sailed the seas. The things that they have done will never be forgotten, especially all the murderous acts that they have done.
